Holiday Shimmer and Embroidered Boots

Happy Holidays loves! I love this time of the year for spending quality moments with family and friends, and of course getting dressed for the festive occasions! Sequins, glitter and glitz abound (though you know I’d wear these any time of the year :P), it’s time to shine! Here I put together an outfit that’s not exactly a party look, but rather safe for work for maximum practicality. I’ve worn this shimmery green pleated skirt with white, black, and even peachy pink (so into watermelon colors lately thanks to Gucci). Mixed with a pair of embroidered (one of my favorite trends) boots, beret and teddy coat, this look has so many trends but somehow they all work together like a perfect harmony.

How fun is the embroidery on these Christian Dior boots! Trends come and go, but some old favorites are here to stay if they still bring you “joy” (hello Marie Kondo :). This is truly a work of art and will remain in my collection.
