Layer like a Pro: Dress Over Pants & Statement Sleeves

Statement sleeves are here to stay! This is one trend that has been hot the past couple seasons, and it’s still going on strong this coming fall/winter. In this look I paired an extra-long sleeve top (you may remember seeing it previously here, I eventually cut the sleeves down for convenience 🙂 underneath an old mini dress that wasn’t getting much use. I’m loving the refreshing look of layering dresses over pants, so I did that here with a pair of stretchy, frilly flared pants from Zara. A pair of cropped flared jeans would work perfectly as well, and provide a contrast of texture between the dress and pants.
