Hello everyone!  With the new hair color change, I’ve been wearing alot more pink.   This girly color has also been seen on just about every one of your favorite stylish celebrities lately.  While warm, nudish pinks are very popular, I also like a cooler version of it, as it pairs perfectly with icy greys.  The toughness of a biker jacket is an unexpected execution of this girly color, so when I saw this jacket at Neiman Marcus, I knew it would become a well used piece in my wardrobe.

 

 

This ensemble, especially with these fantastic glitter booties, makes me feel like a rocker princess!  I wore this to an embassy event and dressed it up a bit with the fun twist pearls and lace camisole, but for an even cooler/more casual look, a tee shirt under the biker jacket would work fabulously.  Now that’s have one more look at these magical booties:

 

 

And if you haven’t been to the newly opened East Wing of the National Gallery of Art, you must check it out!  Situated on the roof terrace is Katharina Fritsch’s 14½ -foot sculpture “Hahn/Cock” (the Blue Rooster), DC Instagrammers’ new favorite spot. The East Buil also features two new galleries linked by the roof terrace and sculpture garden, one showcasing works by Alexander Calder, while the other featuring abstract expressionist works including those by Mark Rothko.
