Happy First Day of Summer, friends!  As you may remember, I’m a fan of layering off shoulder looks (see here, here and here).  Trends come and go so quickly, and this is a way make more use of this popular silhouette, while giving it a style update.  In this example below, I’m wearing a crop top (an old-ish Zara number which is not technically off shoulder), and the layering of a waffle-knit tank was just what I needed to add a bit of texture while giving the tummy some coverage 🙂

 

 

A top that is sleeveless or sheer works really well underneath off shoulder looks.  Most likely we all have something like this already in the closet, why not try to give it a new life?
