Happy first day of Spring! The weather this year has made DC’s beautiful flowering trees unpredictable, but I was glad to get some shots couple weeks ago while these gorgeous dogwoods were at peak.
The loose, cropped top has such a cool-girl vibe, you can see in a previous post I’m really into this look. Now that’s admit, many will have a hard time pulling off this cut – personally I’m not into showing TOO much belly at my age! However there are some ways to incorporate this into your wardrobe while still having the midriff covered:
- Pair with high-waisted pants
- Layer a button-down poplin shirt underneath
- Layer a dress underneath – like I have done in this case
