Yellow Accessories at Watergate

Yellow has been getting quite alot of attention this summer, and according to Resort 2018 trend report, we’ll be seeing more of it in the coming months. Yellow has always been one of my favorite colors, but fining the right shade and piece hasn’t been easy. This is not the color for everyone, but accenting with a pop of yellow via accessories is a great way to execute this trend. I was excited to have found these booties by Haider Ackermann in a fun metallic yellow hue, and paired them with a simple black, white and denim palette to allow them to shine.

I had the pleasure of visiting Top of the Gate, the gorgeous rooftop at the Watergate Hotel, and decided to turn it into a fun meet-up with Simply Sylvia. The view is stunning, but be sure also to check out rest of the property and grab a bite at Kingbird!
